I had a awesome experience in this store. I was immediately met at the door by Amanda who happens to be the manager. She quickly directed me to where I wanted to go. She helped me decide on an outfit... I was super impressed by her and the rest of the staff. Nice cheerful people you don't see often in retail anymore.

Definitely recommend this place!!! Sean/Shawn (he described himself as the older of the 2 Seans) was an absolute gem. He was so helpful and accommodating. I will definitely be back. They had a great selection too. Thank you sooooo much Sean!!! We need more people like you in this world!

After my experience at Plato’s closet Sarasota, I had to give a review!!! The ladies and the young man working there are spectacular! Even during COVID, when it’s stressful, busy and bad circumstances for businesses right now, they stay very polite, helpful and genuinely nice to their customers! I really love this store and everyone I’ve met working In it! Love the clothes, accessories , shoes and definitely am in love with the prices! The store is very clean, organized and welcoming right down to the music! I come to shop and stay for a couple hours sometimes just shopping and enjoying it! The best styles are definitely at this Plato’s! Something for everyone! I seriously am a lifer at Plato’s! I will forever shop at Plato’s! My little girl gets accessories, my teenage son gets clothes and shoes, and I even have my husband buying shirts there! All my absolute favorite brands are here and for half of what they cost elsewhere and sometimes less than half!!! I just can’t go on enough to express how well they treat my family and I as customers and other customers that I’ve seen them help! Thank you Plato’s closet Sarasota team!!!!

I have a shopping problem... so I’m constantly buying clothes and then selling them! Amanda the manager at Plato’s Closet, and the rest of the girls who work there, ALWAYS do their best to make sure you have both a great selling experience and a great shopping experience. I’m from Manhattan so I have dealt with many different kinds of consignment shops. None of them are as sweet and helpful as the girls at Plato’s Closet 🙂 And they also pay well for your clothes! Sometimes people leave bad reviews because they decide to walk in the door at almost 5pm with 3 baskets of clothes and they’re asked to come back tomorrow. A suggestion is that if you really need your items gone through and purchased, get there as early as possible. I have never been turned away. And they are always super quick, convenient, and helpful. And shopping is always fun. They have super cute items from great brands- at awesome prices. This store has amazing finds for great prices!

I absolutely LOVE love love this location. The staff is always so nice & very helpful. They have a lot of stuff that’s brand new, great name brands all the time. Most recently when I was in they had 70% off clearance going on and Karrie was SO helpful and really made my experience more pleasant and enjoyable. She continually checked on me and made sure I found everything, and told me about all the little deals. Amanda always has the best crew in there! They have a great online store too ;) I don’t think I’ve ever felt more welcome somewhere or found better deals. By far my favorite Plato’s!!

I was so exited to go to Plato’s closet because I have never been and I had an amazing experience. There were some racks specifically for name brands which was great cause it made it easy. The staff were kind and free of making conversation with you. I will definitely be coming back to this location!

It’s clear that the team takes pride in curating a great inventory, and I found so many unique pieces that I couldn’t resist adding to my wardrobe. The real stars of my visit, though, were Brenna, Mariah, and Amanda. These ladies went above and beyond to make my shopping experience unforgettable. Brenna was incredibly kind, helping me navigate the racks and offering spot-on style suggestions that matched my taste perfectly. I have shopped at many of the Plato's closet locations, and had good experiences, but this one is by far the best! I was there today for the clearance sale and had a very large order ( as I always do), and the team went above and beyond to be helpful. Even when my very large order froze the computer! Lol 😂 They made sure I got everything I was looking for, suggested areas to check out I may have missed and worked together to get my order ready for me. Everyone works so well together in the store and they are so welcoming, that I tell everyone about them. I worked as a retail manager, and district manager for over 20 years and can honestly say that it's refreshing when you walk into a store with such a welcoming environment! It truly shows how positive the leadership must be to have such a great team that truly seem to love the people they work with! Thank you again 💕
